Celebrating Ingmar Bergman 100 years

This year, it´s 100 years since Sweden's greatest filmmaker Ingmar Bergman was born. Throughout the year, the celebration of his centenary take place all over the world and of course Storyspot participates. In 2018, it is a hundred years since Ingmar Bergman was born. He was one of the world's premier movie directors throughout the ages, and also an outstanding author and legendary theater director. After his death in 2007 Bergman is also one of Scandinavia's most played dramatists. The centennial anniversary, commencing in the fall of 2017 and going on throughout 2018, will be celebrated all over the world.

In connection with this, we at Storyspot have chosen to highlight five of Ingmar Bergman's greatest works. At Hov's Hallows you can listen to how one of the most famous scenes of film history was recorded: Death that plays chess with the Knight of the Seventh Seal.
