In collaboration with British freelance journalist Maddy Savage Storyspot has created Åre Unzipped - the first podcast guide to the innovative parts of mountain village Åre.
Maddy Savage has made great success with her podcast The Stockholmer where she interviews influential people in the startup world in Stockholm. At Storyspot we wanted her to discover more creative and innovative parts of Sweden. The result is Åre Unzipped, the first podcast guide of its kind, where creative and enterprising people get the way to discover new parts of cities and communities.
In the podcast guide Åre Unzipped, Maddy Savage deepens Åre's startup, design and small business scene and interviews six of the most exciting companies and startups in Åre right now. The sections are in English and exclusively produced for the Storyspot app, available for download in the App Store and Google Play for free.
"I'm passionate about sharing stories from Sweden's thriving startup scene in English. My first project for Storyspot was a great opportunity to do some independent journalism from one of the most innovative and beautiful parts of Sweden I've visited so far", Maddy Savage says.
In the first section, The tech hub hoping for northern Sweden's first unicorn, Andreas Eriksson, one of the founders behind the entrepreneurial house Be is interviewed. You can listen to it in Storyspot App here.
